This project which was realized according to the design elaborated by our company was awarded as 2011 year water management structure in the Czech Republic.Apart from that we carried out inspection of the work and technical safety surveillance during the work. Surveillance was mainly focused on the elimination of the seismicity during the tunnelling performed close to the base of foundation. Tunnelling was done by blasting works. Main purpose of these project is the increase of upstream shell stability and complete reconstruction of the dam crest.

|
Vranov dam is gravity concrete dam which was put into operation in the 1934. Due to the aging of constructions there is unsatisfactory technical state mainly of the dam crest and concrete surfaces. Our company prepared a design of the reconstruction with main focus on new concrete construction of the crest and new bridges over the spillway fields. Sanitation of the concrete surface will be done too. This project should be realized in years 2013 – 2016. Vranov dam pictures are in the gallery.

Monitoring Equipment for Dokan and Derbandikhan Dams 2011 - 12
This project was finenced by Republic of Iraq, Kurdistan Regional Goverment.
Dokan and Derbandikhan Dams are biggest in the north part of the Iraq. Derbandikhan is embankment dam with central clay core and rockfill shoulders. Dokan is concrete arch dam with gravity abutment.
Both dams were equipped with new automatic devices for dam monitoring. This system is collecting all relevant data from existing and new devices.

Our experts participate in the team of consultants during the preparation and construction of new earthfill dams. Consultation team representatives are daily present on the sites share their experiences with local engineers, write regular reports and help solving upcoming problems.
