In order to determinate the level of safety surveillance and supervision water structures in the Czech Republic are divided into four categoriesaccording to potential losses in case of their breach.

Decision of the water structure subsumptioninto one of the category which is done by the water management authority is based on the expert statement prepared by our company.

Our expert statement is based on the dam break studies by using software BREACH for the calculation of the flood discharge parameters and most often HEC-RAS for water flow modeling downstream the water structure.
